CHEESY ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

150g

Prima Plain Flour

400ml

Fresh Milk

120g

Butter

3 tsp

Onion

270g

Sausage (cut into small cubes)

150g

Grated Cheddar Cheese

1 tbsp

Dried Parsley

1 tsp

Salt

½ tsp

Pepper
Plain flour, egg white and bread crumbs for coating
Cooking oil for frying

PROCEDURE

  1. Mix sausage, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Boil milk and butter together while stirring.
  3. Add plain flour, stir and mix well to form a soft dough.
  4. Add onion, mix well.
  5. Remove the dough from the heat and let it cool down.
  6. Add in the mix in step 1 and mix well.
  7. Divide the dough into approx. 40g each and shape into round balls.
  8. Coat with plain flour, followed by egg white and lastly bread crumbs.
  9. Deep fry until golden brown.
  10. Serve hot with any sauce of your choice
